Christmas Return

After an extended Christmas break, I finally returned to work. My family and I drove to Texas for a Hurndon Christmas Eve party. I met someone I didn’t know. I’d heard of her and met one of her sisters last Christmas. We all enjoyed Tex-Mex and some entertaining games. There was a fish fry on Christmas Day. On Sunday, we headed home. I thought the dramatic change in temperature from 80’s in Texas to 30’s in Arizona was the cause of feeling under the weather. Much to my surprise, Omicron had stowed away in the van and returned home with us. Boy was I hot! She gave me a headache. Some of my kids felt the same way. We couldn’t wait for her to leave. She was so rude and obnoxious. I thought she might kill me, but she wasn’t as strong as her sister Delta. She hung around for a few days. Finally, she left. I don’t know and I don’t care how she got home. I was so glad she was gone. I heard she stopped by uninvited to other homes and wreaked more havoc. The school was informed. My family and I were deemed guilty by association and not allowed to return to school. Today, our names were cleared. Glad to be back.
